Commentary
  • The percentage of non-ACT residents giving birth in the ACT remained stable at around 16% until 2011. Since 2011 the percentage has decreased to around 14%. Most of these women are from the surrounding regions of NSW, many of them accessing specialist obstetric services in the ACT for high risk and multiple pregnancies eg. twin or triplet pregnancies.
