Commentary
  • In the decade (2005 to 2014), the population of all ACT town centres experienced growth, with the exception of Tuggeranong, which experienced negative growth of 3.9%. 
  • The highest rates of growth occurred in the town centres of Cotter/Namadgi (73.5%) and Gungahlin (49.8%). However, the town centres with the largest absolute increase in numbers were Gungahlin (30,793 people) and North Canberra (10,515 people)
