Commentary
  • In the decade (2006 to 2016), the population of all ACT town centres experienced growth, with the exception of Tuggeranong, which experienced negative growth of -4.5%. 
  • The highest rates of growth occurred in the town centres of Molonglo and Gungahlin. However, the town centres with the largest absolute increase in numbers were Gungahlin (39,658 people) and Belconnen (10,503 people).
