Commentary
Australia's screen time guidelines recommend two hours or less of electronic media for entertainment purposes each day for five to 17 year olds.
 
In 2017, there was no significant difference between boys (80.9%) and girls (77.0%) exceeding the screen time guideline for entertainment (p=0.3640).
